Homebrew Athasian Dwarf Species Details
Dwarves for some reason or another naturally seem to take to both war and craftsmanship, and it’s uncommon to meet a dwarf who is neither a soldier nor a craftsman. They also seem to share a tenacity that serves them well against difficult tasks and enemies, pushing on where others would quit.
Athasian Dwarf Traits
Dwarves have the following racial traits:Ability Score Increase

Size
A Dwarf is shorter and stockier then humans and elves, and are usually about four to five feet tall.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Darkvision
You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Tenacity
Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
Craftsman
You gain one artisan tool proficiency of your choice
Heavy Strikes
When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
