Homebrew Clovenkin Species Details

“They never settled, they just kept taking, and taking...” the man muttered out, his voice riddled with despair.

The Prime Herdstone rose, and the hordes of Beastmen flooded the lands, razing and pillaging the settlements around. Among them, four leaders, those in charge of the Warherds. Taurox, of the Slaughterhorn, Khazrak, of the One-Eyed, Malagor, Harbinger of Disaster, and Morghur, the Shadowgrave.

Beastmen are relentless creatures who seek only chaos and exist for a sole purpose, destruction and corruption. The world should be one mighty herd, and the other races needn't exist. If you choose to play as a Beastman, you should consult your DM and party, and it's suggested you play in an adventure where all players are Beastmen, or at least chaotic evil. Ultimately, this is a roleplaying game where creativity shouldn't limit you to what's recommended here.

Brutal and Cunning

Beastmen have many different shapes, sizes, and patterns of fur, some even sprout wings and dominate the skies, but all of them have horns. That, and the fury contained by their chaotic corruption, most people assume these creatures to be mindless brutes, but don't be fooled. They are highly intelligent as far as predators are concerned, able to set up ambushes, track any being of the realm, and adapt to many battles.

Endless Hordes

These beings don't live very long, perhaps 20 years at most, but they are created by the corruption of humans, so most of them have already lived a long life. That doesn't stop the numbers of them appearing, as humanoids breed, the clovenkin corrupt them to bolster their own populations.

Herd Mentality

Most of their kind are found in packs, seldom do they stray from the herd, their strength alone is only seen in the most powerful of their kind, leaders of the warherd.

For a Clovenkin to abandon their pack, and adventure on their own, they would to possess intelligence, wisdom, and strength above all else.

Colonizing Chaos

Clovenkin travel endlessly, with only few staying back at herdstones, they raze villages and tear through any planet, realm or universe they end up in. Like clockwork, large armies of beastmen pave a path through endless slaughter with no prejudice with a one-track mind bent on spreading chaos.

Clovenkin Names

Clovenkin do not have formal names, and often only their highest ranking are appointed ones. With their short lived glory, there has been little reason to consider this "meaningless" step towards their shared goals.
