Homebrew Deathforged Species Details
Appearance
They are large constructs, made from undead creatures of Such as Dragonborn, Dwarves, Humans and Tieflings. That had served honourably in the Order of Technomancer's. They are clad in heavy plated armour, with mechanical hands and feet, thier heads are encased with a an armoured skull piece with cables and flexes leading from the back and torso dock and port in the skull base back and sides: that can be unlocked to be connected into machines or into a non operational Deathforged to see its last memory or use it eyes if their own are critically damaged. Their faces are either armoured plates with eye slits or brass plated death masks for the most notable and exceptional warriors. Their eyes glow mana blue, the few patches of visible skin are dead but undecayed, coated in a film of preserving substances. Their voices created from somatic runes emanates an echoing, grating artificial voice.
Purpose Of Creation
They are designed for heavy, melee combat (but are capable of ranged or magic combat if the old warrior that was capable of innate magic or if the magic is knowledge based can learn how to use magic) to maintain the order of Tecnomancys ranks. However since then many of them have malfunctioned to a degree, been designed to at least partially remember or an archaic Deathforged brain causing them to remember their old self but instead created something else shaped or haunted by those memories, or some other quirk: (acts affectionately towards children of their race (or hates them), will not harm others but will restian or block them for others to attack them instead, became insane, periodically goes berserk or randomly shutdowns for a random period of time.
Unit Designation.
Each season the Death forged are made a different naming scheme is used ( here are a few examples: Birds of prey, Deities, Constellations) or simply their actual name is used. However the deathforged may change their name or at least partially by saying their not them, and are a different person. (example: Anna Fange > Stalker Fang). Alternativley less notable warriors but ones still worthy of resurrection have basic unit designation such as A-3-21.
Technology at work.
They are resurrected using arcanomechanicle machinery. Such as a Mana Wayline Power Core, Deathfroge Cerebral Reanimator, Potion Pump and more. These machines replace or augment pre existing organs, combined they Reanimate the corpse and give it a controlling artificial mind, that makes them, either a mindless automata, sentient machine or somewhere inbetween. All of this is powered by a arcane power core, drawing energy from the plane of lightning.
