Homebrew Demonic Siren Species Details

Demonic Sirens are half Demon Half Siren hybrids. They are unique in that they have both the ability to swim and fly. They are a rare breed as most sirens do not like leaving the ocean or marrying outside their own race. They can change their appearance at will taking on more demonic traits or siren traits as needed for their environment.

Sirens:

Sirens are mermaid-like in appearance. The top half of their body reflects a human-like figure while the bottom half is built like an elegant fish. Their race manifested two thousand years before humans put the first marine vessels on the ocean waters. Originally, the vessels were welcomed by the siren people and they got along with all races and sub-races from every land. However, many people began to take advantage of their kindness and used them to fight a multitude of meaningless wars against their enemies. None of these were beneficial to the siren people, as their waters became polluted, and many of their men perished without cause; so much so, that it was widely believed most not all of the male sirens went extinct. Contrary to popular mythology there are still both male and female sirens. The females are more curious and playful which is why they stay closer to the surface. The male sirens are more serious and prefer the cold dark depths of the ocean over the warmer, brighter waters towards the surface. The male's serious preferences coupled with their aversion to fighting in any more frivolous wars perpetuated by land dwellers have been the reason for their rare sightings and hostility towards being caught in the public eye. 

Demons:

Demons are humanoid in appearance with the exception of their red or black skin and their horns, tail, and wings. A Demon's wings are retractable and disappear into the skin of their back. The race appeared about 374 thousand years ago on the continent of Ascension but was driven off it by the Angels, which led them to take over the continent of Pandaemonium. Each Demon embodies one of the seven deadly sins. The rank of Elder is mostly honorary as it goes to the oldest living Devil who is currently a Sloth Demon that rarely wakes up. Demonic society is separated by a system of peerage similar to the humans, with the strongest Demon ever recorded (Sullus) at the top.
