Homebrew Tiefling and Shadar-Kai Hybrid Species Details

These hybrids resemble mostly to Tieflings but have some traits of Shadar-kais. They are, like the Shadar-kais, in a perpetual state between life and death. They were usually slender and ranged from slightly taller to slightly shorter than humans, exhibiting graceful movements well suited to stealth.

They had skin that is a mix of both Tiefling and Shadar (depending of the Tiefling parent); Hair is usually dark, but some rare cases will be light colors like light purples, blues, and browns; and two different eyes with one being all black like the void and the other either being solid colors --black, red, white, silver, or gold-- with no visible scleras or pupils or having demon a demon like eye with the iris depending on the tiefling parent. They have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes: some have curling horns like a ram, others have straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, and some spiral upward like an antelopes’ horns. They have thick tails, four to five feet long, which lash or coil around their legs when they get upset or nervous. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed. Shadows on their bodies or clothing always seemed to be deeper and darker than shadows elsewhere, and shadow seemed to follow them and reach out, especially when they were angry. They were easily lost from view. Depending on who they grew up with, these hybrids will sometimes have piercings on their elf-like ears and metal bands around their horns. Some will show off any battle scars as well. Some feminine ones will wear eye shadow just for the fun of it.
