Homebrew Draecan Species Details

To be Draecan is to have authority. For nobody wants to be on bad terms with the Dragons.

Draecan Blood

Loved by the Dragons, hated by the Dragonborn, and feared by almost every other race being a Draecan is an easy yet unpleasant life. More closely related to Dragons than Dragonborn the Draecan are a unique race of people.

Draecan are not a unique species, but more like a transitional period. All Draecan belong to a Draconity, a family group led by the most powerful Dragon within it, and are directly related to a Dragon within a few generations. After too many generations of separation from a true Dragon members of that line are considered Dragonborn, not Draecan, and kicked out of the Draconity as their blood has become too impure.
