Homebrew Devourer Species Details
Devourers love to all sorts of prey and their bodies are capable of digesting even the strangest of foods. Devourers grow stronger by inheriting the abilities of their prey. In return, Devourers must consume twice as food as other medium sized creatures.

When consuming at least half the body weight of a deceased creature, you randomly gain one language, one proficiency, one resistance/immunity, and one ability/action(collectively referred to as capabilities) of the consumed creature that you do not already have. You can store the capabilities of up to X creatures at a time where X is your proficiency bonus. If the consumed creature has CR greater than or equal to your level, then this only lasts for 24 hours.
Consume Prey
When consuming creatures, if you ate at least half of that creature's body weight, you heal 1dx where x is 10% of the consumed creature's max hp.
Larger Stomachs
You must eat at least twice as much as other creatures of size medium. You also do not have a limit to how much you can eat.
Ability Score Increase
Your Constitution increases by 2.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
