Homebrew Abyssal Brute Species Details
Demonic Bloodline
Abyssal brutes can all track their lineage back, eventually to one demon or another. Some are more direct than others but the result is the same: a mortal changed by demonic blood to become a beast of strength and destruction. At least, such is the demonic intent. Abyssal brutes, while inclined to violence and evil, are not doomed to it. By their own choice or simply a guiding hand they can turn away from their lineage and embrace a path of peace and good. Or something even between the two.
Terrifying Appearance
Regardless of what abyssal brutes choose to do with their lives, most are easily identified. Abyssal brutes tend to stand well above six feet tall and many tower as high as eight. Their skin tends to be dark shades of red, brown, or even black and they often bear horns or spikes from their heritage. All brutes inherent a vicious set of teeth perfect for ripping into flesh and meat.
