Homebrew Xetoshi Species Details
Hailing from the planet Nemura, the Xetoshi are most similar to the earthly race of Tabaxi in appearance, but they have whiskers like an eastern style dragon, medium in length, and they have a pouch much like a kangaroo's- able to store weapons and other items, making the use of backpacks for adventures essentially nil. They are bulkier than most races, most similar to Orcs in how large they are, in both bulkiness and height (Around 6'6 on average)- however they are on the slow side, and move slightly slower than most earthly races do.
Their ears have small holes near them that lead directly into their brains- so they would take critical damage if an arrow slipped through said hole. Like the Tabaxi, the Xetoshi have Darkvision, able to see in the dark/dimly lit areas for up to 45 feet away.
Due to their strange biology, they can regenerate taken damage without the use of potions. (1d4 HP per 1 ingame hour). This regeneration does not take effect against damage taken by poison.
They have a 'last resort' ability to expurge acid from their bodies as an attack. It is slightly more powerful than a Dragonborn's breath weapon, however the use of this Last Resort knocks out the user and deals 1d4 damage to the user at first level, the self-inflicted damage multiplying by two with each level gained.
They can also use an attack with poison talons, that deal 1d4 poison damage + STR modifier when used.

Last Resort
When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of acid in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature takes 1d12 acid damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. This damage increases by 1d12 when you reach 5th level (2d12), 11th level (3d12), and 17th level (4d12). However, on use you lose consciousness and take 1d4 damage for how many levels you have gained (for example level 2 would take 1d8, level 3 would take 1d12)

The talons deal 1d4 damage (poison) + your character's STR modifier.

Wisdom decreases by 1. Charisma increases by 1.
Age
They reach adulthood at 26 and live for about 150 years, give or take.
Size
Xetoshi are usually between 6 foot and 7 foot tall.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic and a rare language since you are of alien descent.
