Homebrew Arachnoid Species Details

The arachnoids are a humanoid spider like race from the deep reaches of the underdark, they have 6 arms and 2 legs as well a spider like face. Like a spider, they can freely crawl on walls and ceilings at the same speed as their walking speed, in addition, using their additional limbs they can attack and cast spells while hanging from the walls and ceiling, though getting hit by an attack will make them fall if they fail a dc 13 dexterity saving throw. As an arachnoid, you have a bite attack which deals 1d4 piercing and causes the bitten person to have to make a dc 11 constitution save or take an additional 1d4 poison damage. During a rest you can spend 2 hours to make 10 feet of Spider silk rope. You have Darkvision of up to 60 feet and have resistance to poison and advantage on constitution saves against being poisoned. You also can cast the web spell a number of times equal to your profeciency modifier starting at 3rd level.

Spider Bite

You can choose to Bite an enemy within 5 feet of you, dealing 1d4 piercing damage. In addition the enemy needs to make a dc 13 constitution saving throw or take an additional 1d4 poison damage and suffer the poisoned condition

Spider climb

You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, and you can climb on both walls and ceilings. In addition, using your extra limbs you can still attack while on the walls and ceilings.

Spider sight

Your time in the under dark has heightened your vision within absence of light, you have dark vision of up to 60 feet

Spider Reseliance

You have resistance against poison damage and advantage on constitution saving throws to resist the poisoned condition

Ability increase

You increase one ability score by +1 and another by +2

Spider's thread

During a rest, you can spend 2 hours to create 20 feet of spider silk rope

Spider web

Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the web spell for free a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.
