Homebrew Awoken Species Details

Ascension

You look exactly like the race you were before your awakening and your origin cannot be determined however if detect evil and good is cast near you it is found that you are a tenth old god.

Slayer

your awakening is a temporal aftershock of the death of your old god which caused a shard of it's DNA to be sent to the future to you you feel compelled to find out why your god died.

 

Awoken names

Awoken could have names from any race but when they awake they are given the name of the god that grants them strength.

 

 

 

Awoken can use the languages and hieght weight e.t.c. from other races.

 

When playing an awoken you must roll 1d6 to determine your shard:

1. Rakothta

2. Vonshai

3. Manlaynix

4. kreed 

5. Taulas

6. Macheon

Awoken Traits

Depending on which old gods shard you recieved you recieve different benefits.

Vonshai

Your wisdom score increases by 3.

You gain proficiency in perception, insight, survival and animal handling.

Kreed

Your strength score increases by 3.

You gain proficiency in athletics.

Your attacks with any weapon deal an additional 1d6 force damage.

You deal 1d6 force damage to creatures of a different size than you.

When attacking another player you deal an extra 1d6 force damage.

Taulas

Your intelligence score increases by 3.

You gain proficiency in arcana, history, nature, religion and investigation.

Macheon

Your dexterity score increases by 3.

You gain proficiency in acrobatics slight of hand and stealth.

You can reroll any dexterity saving throw once and chose either roll.

Rakothta

Your constitution score increases by 3.

you cannot age and do not need to eat or sleep you can meditate for 3 (short) or 5 (long) hours instead and recharge your abilities as well as gaining 2 temporary hit points per long meditation.

you are immune to disease and resist slashing damage.

Manlaynix

Your charisma score increases by 3.

You gain proficiency in deception, intimidation , performance and persuasion.
