Homebrew Arroll Species Details

a birdlike species with multiple subsects. The Arroll have been the hoarders of knowledge for centuries, having taken almost all but a few spattering's of fiction books when it comes to written texts. All their claimed knowledge is housed in The Aviary, which is the magically floating continent they call home. The Aviary is built in a fashion similar to feudal Chinese Daoist temples, with each clan having their own clan roost with its own guest pavilion for when non-Arroll visit. The Arroll are separated into three castes; The Librarians (who field all of the academics in the Library, the central building of the continent), The Zephyrs (the warrior caste that are virtually nonpareil in combat), and the Delivery (the standard mail delivery service made entirely out of Arroll that have not molted their baby feathers, which insulate and keep them warm). Arroll are know for being the fastest race in all of the Emerald Oak Forest, with the fastest Arroll recorded to date clocking in at speeds of Mach 6. Arroll are only biologically female or hermaphroditic. Arroll all have the disadvantage of Blindness; Glass for purposes of players playing Arroll. Arroll have three stomachs for the sake of long travel, and can function with only one working lung even choosing to force one of their lungs to go necrotic for the sake of "killing off" any infection, although that can cause long term health problems and even death. When one of their lungs is necrotic if the lung gets punctured outside of the protection of magic it produces a noxious gas that is highly deadly to dragons and all other forms of Draconid. Arroll can last without food for up to four days before perishing under normal circumstances. There is a Hero in Arroll culture that had a mark that if an Arroll is born with they are destined for greatness, however only one Arroll may have it per gen. For Players making an Arroll, they have the Disadvantage : Blindness; Glass automatically
