Homebrew Beast within Species Details
The Beast Within is a race that is the amalgamation of 2 strength based races such as a Centaur/Minotaur combination. Creating this creature has given you all the power but none of the other bonuses such as being able to be ridden like you could as a Centaur or none of the damage that Charge would do with your horns as a Minotaur. You blend into most Human societies but as a outcast due to you poor speech patterns or unhuman like wooliness.
Beast within Traits
The Beast Within gains the following stats and traitsAbility Score Increase
All brawn but not a lot of everything else. You literally are the expression " strong as an ox. "
Charge
Rushing ahead is something you do as you think with your muscles instead of your brain but it works for you. Enemies need to beware if you get a running start!
Animalistic Rage
The primal strength of your ancestors comes out almost like a Barbarian's rage. Often being bully so often, you have learned to harness this strength too in order to give yourself, the ancestorial blood coursing through your veins to drive you forward.
Build
Your hidden strength helps you pull the weight of most things twice your side.
Beasty beast
When you make an unarmed strike as a bonus action immediately after you hit a creature, you do one of the following: 1d6 + your strength modifier bludgeoning damage. Or Use a bonus action to attempt to push that target with your horns. Target must be within 5 feet of you and no more than one size larger than you. Unless it succeeds on a strength saving through against a DC equal to 8+ your proficiency bonus + your strength modifier, you can push it up to 5 feet away.
Ancestral Connection
You always know which direction is north. If you are in the fey realm, you have advantage on any Wisdom (Survival) check you make to navigate or track.
You have proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Medicine, Nature, or Survival.
