Natural hoarders

Arachnid's are known hoarders. Wanting to keep their belongings and have a tendency to collect things they feel have importance to themselves and their interests. This can be anything from food, to items to even creatures and travellers.

Shunned race

Arachnid's have a tendency to become evil characters due to their race being typically shunned and barred due to their scary outer profile.

Arachnid Traits

These are the racial traits your Arachnid will have

Six Eyes

Due to the Arachnid race having the two extra set of eyes, you're granted a +4 on perception rolls.

Spider Senses

Your race allows your character to have heightened vision in dim light and darkness. You can see up to 60 feet in front of you in dim light and an additional 10 feet in darkness.

Age

Due to their tendency to live through almost any natural phenomenon and have their exoskeleton, they're unlikely to be killed by nature or have any complications with illnesses.

Size

With the extension of having the additional legs, an Arachnid can grow to larger heights than most humanoid creatures. The height helps accommodate the need to support their back with the six additional legs.

Venomous Bite

One bite cannot kill an opponent unless the opponent has already been severely weakened and/or injured. Should Venomous Bite successfully kill an opponent, the Arachnid may chose to consume the opponent to heal for 2d4 HP.

Web Sense

Arachnid's are known for their webs and are notoriously known for how easily one can get trapped inside them. You create the web from the palm of your hand which you can use to create traps to catch and trap opponents inside them. When using this, to avoid being caught, the target must make a DC 14 Strength check to see if they can escape from the trap. The webbing has an AC of 10 and hp of 5. Its extremely vulnerable to fire damage, but has immunity to bludgeoning, poison and psychic damage.

This can only be used three times per short rest.

Spider Climb

Arachnids are able to climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without the need to make an ability check.
