Homebrew Avian Species Details

Past the clouds, in towns call sky cities is where avians call home. Living in the sky is considered the perfect life for most avians although there are ground cities for avians too. Avians prefer the peace of mind living up in the sky where they not worry about being attract by their foes, for its too high for any creature terrestrial and aquatic alike. They live off of chunks of land brought up by the scavengers, growing seed they find including corn, wheat, and other common seeds. They turn the freshly grown crops in to a filed snack resembling a nurturance bar. They spend days exploring new lands in the sky and chatting among themselves with one another. Those who seek adventure are often lead to the rode of unknown exploration, but they almost always come back home one day or another. 

 

Feather Frenzy 

Avians look just like their human counterpart, if that counterpart had large wings of great strength and tails made of silky feathers. Avians are recognized by their uniquely patterned  feathers and joist attitudes, they average a medium to small size in shape and mass, avians usually have tan to dark skin excluding the possibility for albinism or vitiligo, they tend to have blue(any shade) , gold, tan, hassle, brown, and some times green eyes, They have no set hair or feather color but they keep hair on the shorter side or in a tight pony tale. Avians have leaner builds and larger wings for an easier flight, they have soft and round faces and they have more hard and pointed faces, some are a bit more round and huggable, some are blocky and thin. it truly is up to the player to decide. The wing and tail feathers are kept clean and pristine to ensure for better flight, they have great wings spans bigger than most humans are tall with long tail feathers to help them maneuver while flying. In some towns avians must use a potion call mist to help hide their wing and tails for in those towns are poachers who will do any thing for quick cash, they avoid those towns as much as possible.

 

Adventuresome and Eccentric

Most avians are curious like most birds and other creatures. Avians have a large memory span and can recall events from childhood, and with them always looking for more Information they are one of the smartest race around. Some times its can get them in to bad situations, you know curiosity killed the cat after all. along with avians being curious the are adventurous and always looking for new and undiscovered items. some say that avians are kinda like big children with them copying thing other will do they don't mean it in a mocking was is just their personality to try and mimic things. Avians believe that every one should be equal so in the avian world unless you were raised in places other than the sky cities you are automatically in the comfortable class. In avian culture they have a third gender tertius along side vir, and femina which just means man and woman.

Avians have can have both human and aarakocraian names, mostly taking names from Greek or Latin and taken from astrology. They get a nick name during childhood usually biased on a pattern in the wings, birth marks, but they aren't limited on choices
