Homebrew Dragon Elf Species Details

Physical Description

Dragonelves simply look like elves but with draconic features such as, scales, reptilian eyes, fangs, claws, as well as wings.

Origin

The origin of the Dragonelves, whether it be magical or natural is unknown.

Clothing

Dragonelves are very picky about what they wear. If it does not suit their personality, they won't wear it.

Lands

Dragonelves will live just about anywhere. It really does not matter to them.

Food Acquisition and Diet

Dragonelves will eat anything.

Dwellings

Dragonelves tend to live in big, richly decorated houses, which smell of leather bound books and mahogany.

Dragonelves are mostly peaceful

So long as other races keep to themselves, Dragonelves have no problem with them and may even be willing to work with them.

Alignment

Dragonelves mostly tend to be chaotic due to the dragon blood in them.

Religion

Dragonelves do not believe in religion. They believe in what they know exists, unless taught otherwise

At birth, Dragonelves can speak Common, Elven, and Draconic. They can easily learn any language as they hear them within reason.

Names

At birth, Dragonelves name themselves. There name could be something ordinary, or complex, for example, a highly noted Dragonelf by the name of Drakonius Vael (pronounced Vay'eel).

Racial Traits

• +1 Strength +1 Dexterity and +1 to either Intelligence or Wisdom depending on elven heritage 
• Elf (Dragon): Just an Elf with Draconic features.
• Medium: As Medium creatures, Dragonelves have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
• base land speed is 30 feet: Fly 50 feet
• Low-Light Vision (Ex): Dragonelves retain there elven sight.
• Darkvision (Ex): Dragonelves retain there draconic sight.
• Wings (Ex): Dragonelves are born with a set of wings that they can call upon at any time as a bonus action. The wings can fuse into there back to be hidden so no one knows of them.
• Automatic Languages: Common, Elven, Draconic, and also some abyssal with good reason
• Bonus Languages: Any.
• Favored Class: Any
• Level Adjustment: +2
• Effective Character Level: 3
• Rest Information: Elves don’t need to sleep like other races do. Instead of sleeping, they go into a deep, meditative state while taking while taking a long rest.

Darkvision

Dragonelves retain their eleven and draconic sight 

Dragon wings

Dragonelves are born with a set of wings that they can call upon at any time as a bonus action. The wings can fuse into there back to be hidden so no one knows of them. 

Dragon's Breath

The Dragon species type (red, white, bronze, etc.) that is in their bloodline is the type of dragon breath they can use. Non magic classes have to wait till level 2 to use this ability. One use per short rest

Elemental Resistance

If you have a red dragon bloodline your resistant to fire and etc

 

Trance/Meditate

Short rest do not apply to this race. 

1.) Period of at least 8 hours. 4 hours used meditating and 4 hours doing light activities like reading, talking, etc, equates to a long rest.

2.) Period of 6 hours meditating to reach the full benefit of a long rest.
