Bone Goblin Traits

they have dark vision of 60 feet and natural are proficient at intimidating others. They also can create bone armor from left over bones of their choices.

darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Armed to the bone

You're crafty and resourceful. Being born in a land that has low resources, your kin got innovative. You can spend at least 4 hours of a long rest to create or upgrade your armor by removing bones from slain beasts, dragons, humanoids, monstrosities, and certain undead. At first level, your bone armor gives you an AC of 10 plus your constitution modifier and counts as medium armor. You can still wield a shield while wearing this armor.

The armor increases by two at 3rd level (12 + Con) and an additional two at 5th (14 + Con).

Additionally, you can choose between three different types of armor. During a long rest, you can change the style of your armor.

  • Totally Boned. You pick only the most durable bones to use for your armor. Your bone armor increases by three when you reach 3rd and 5th level instead of two. Additionally, any effect that would push you only pushes you half the distance, rounded up.
  • Baby Steps. You trade defense for stealth. Your bone armor gives you advantage on Dex (Stealth) checks and counts as light armor. However, it only increases by one at 3rd and 5th level. Additionally, since your armor doesn't weigh as much, you gain a 20 foot climbing speed and your unarmed attacks deal 1d4 slashing damage.

Big Ouchies. You got creative with your armor by putting spikes on something that, honestly, didn't need spikes. Whenever a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, your armor deals 1d4 piercing damage to that creature. Additionally, your unarmed attacks deal 1d4 piercing damage and any creature grappling you or being grappled by you takes 1d4 piercing damage at the start of their turn while they are grappling you.

Savage Nature

Bone goblins are well known throughout the world. You gain proficiency in Intimidation if you don't already have it. While wearing Bone Armor, you also have advantage on any skill checks to Intimidation.
