Homebrew Zorta Species Details

With little history and many stories, the Zortai are very mysterious creatures. Those who know or learn about the Zortai tend to die almost instantly, even though the Zortai are very peaceful creatures. Zortai range from small to medium size and are quite nice, they are also very kind to all races. There are two theories as to why many creatures tend to die when entering a village of the Zortia people; one theory is that the deities who watch over the Zortai will notice a sense of malicious intent and have the creature randomly die of natural causes; while another theory is that the Zortai are only nice on the outside and actually have poor intentions. While neither theory was able to be proven, the Zortai are left to not know why people would hate them even after a glance of them. Zortai appearance is that of an elf with a succubus tail and small demon wings on the backside waist. Although not properly proven, Zortai tend to have more females than males in their known villages.

Zortai are quite short and their heights range from 3'5ft. to 4'5ft.

Age

Zortai tend to look very young, no matter their age and that's because they stop aging by the age of 14 and are counted as an adult by the age of 40.

Trance

Zorta' don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
