Homebrew Wasp Species Details

Denizens of the thick forests of Treepedition, the Wasps are fearsome protectors of their home that look exactly as one would suspect - giant, humanoid wasps. 

 

Ability Score Increases

Your Constitution Score increases by 2 while your Dexterity increases by 1.

Languages

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Creature Type

 

Despite all appearances, Wasps are members of the Humanoid family.

Life Span

Wasps live short lives, only living to be anywhere between 12 and 22 years of age. However, the Queens can live to be up to 365 years old! 

Height and Weight

Wasps can range from the size of a fairy to the size of an average humanoid. You usually will weight no more than 50 pounds, however, as your aerodynamic insect body does not have the extra weight of bones, muscle, and cartilage.

You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.

Speed

Your walking speed is 30 feet, and you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.

Deadly Stinger

You can use your stinger to make an unarmed strike. When you hit with it, the strike deals 2d8 + your Constitution modifier poison damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
