Homebrew Digitaliens Species Details

Found everywhere in every plane, the Digitaliens, sometimes called 'Voidmen' or 'Nulls', evoke feelings of fear, and unnerve to all that see it. Many Digitaliens aren’t even native to the Material Plane.

They are refugees, explorers, and exist in a world both strange and alien.

Void in Appearence

From below, Digitaliens look much like normal people. Only when they descend to rest or walk across the ground does their true appearance reveal itself. Digitaliens take the appearance of a man in jeans and a colored shirt. Their face is normal but there is no head to it, and they don't have arms. Judging by how the shirt is positioned, it might just be their arms are invisible but in a permanent T-pose. most reach 5' 6" feet tall.

Their bodies are almost hollow. and they are always male. The colored shirt they wear could be any one solid color, from the colors of the rainbow to black or white. Their heads are almost invisible in appearance as they have no head but do have facial features that can be seen.

Digitaliens Traits

As a Digitalien, you have certain traits in common with your people. Being able to fly at high speed starting at 1st level is exceptionally effective in certain circumstances and exceedingly dangerous in others. As a result, playing a Digitalien requires special consideration by your DM.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity and Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Age

Digitaliens are all male in appearance but can't reproduce. Instead, they just manifest into reality by chance and reach maturity as soon as they appear. They don't have a set lifespan as there are ones that only lived for a day and some that were recorded to be 100's of years old. Some theorize they can't even die by old age but die of other causes. If a Digitalien dies, they will stay in their T-pose, turn blue with some white text, and instantly disappear.

Alignment

Most Digitaliens are good and even go out of their way to warn people about things they know are dangerous. They rarely talk or even encounter others of their species but when they do, they'll usually freeze and look at each other for a bit before moving on.
