Homebrew Beastling Species Details

As a Beastling, or Andagani amongst their own kind, you have a deep connection to the living forests of the world. You are at home in the wild and forge long lasting friendships with the flora and fauna of your grove. Wary of outsiders, though not necessarily hostile, the Andagani consider themselves secret guardians of the sacred lands they inhabit. Few folk have ever heard of the Andagani, though the few druids or feyfolk that have will call them Beastlings.

Beastlings are covered from head to toe in thick, coarse fur in colors that vary from deep brown to black to auburn, though there are tales of white furred Beastlings. Their coats shimmer in the darkness, making them hard to detect after the sun has set. Their eyes are typically black or green, sometimes flecked with gold or purple. The most striking feature of the Beastling are the two bony protrusions that stem from their back, just at the shoulder blade. Legend would tell that the Beastlings used to have wings, but were cursed to the ground and now carry around the weight of their torn wings.
