Homebrew Demonheart Species Details

The result of a human child being bathed in demon blood shortly after birth, a practice common from an ancient cult which has long since been lost, as well as any trace of pure demon blood. Those of the Demonheart cease aging at around 25, and live until someone takes their life, as well as being immune to disease. due to this demonhearts are often centuries old. The Demonheart are exceptionally quick on the ground and when climbing and have a natural talent with magic, having the ability too create a dark barrier to block a light source, some of the strongest can block out the sun in a given area. given that they can see in the dark just as well as in the light, this gives them an advantage to many adversaries. their blood also has some interesting properties, anyone that ingests it will gain the Demonheart's sight, allowing them to share their advantage in the darkness with their allies. Demonhearts are exceptionally rare due to the secrecy of the cult and general hatred towards them by most, to the point that they are hunted down. A demonheart is a deadly adversary, and a powerful ally.

Demonheart Traits

First is their night vision, all demonhearts have this automatically as well as the ability to share their blood with their allies (which does deal them damage)

Dark Barrier

Can create a circular barrier that blocks any light from passing through it, physical objects can pass through,
lvl 3 2 foot radius
lvl 5 4 foot radius
lvl 7 8 foot radius
lvl 9 16 foot radius
lvl 11 32 foot radius, can block out sun

Night Eyes

Th demonheart have flawless vision allowing them to see no matter how dark it is, and no illusion can fool their eyes

Ability increase

adds +2 to DEX and +1 to constitution.

Blood share

The demon heart may deal 3 points of damage to itself in order to share it's blood with allies. If the demonheart already has a wound that would allow it to bleed, then that may be used to share it's blood, with approval of the DM
