Homebrew Space Genasi Species Details

Space genasi are descended from Odjai, the genies of Wildspace and the Astral Plane .Embodying many of the spacial traits of their otherworldly ancestors, space genasi can draw upon their connection to the wilds of space.

Space genasi’s skin tones include a wide variety of shades, from the deep starred expanse of space, to the vibrant Reds and Golds of nebulas. Sometimes their skin is marked by star shaped cracks or tattoos that pulse with starlight or swirl with colorful patterns. A space genasi’s hair might float as though in zero gravity, or be made entirely of strands of starlight or nebula gasses.

Genasi

Tracing their ancestry to the genies of the Elemental and Astral Planes, each genasi can tap into the power of one of the elements. Air, earth, fire, space and water—these are the pillars of the Material Plane and the Space around it.. Some genasi are direct descendants of a genie, while others were born to non-genasi parents who lived near a place suffused by a genie’s magic.

A typical genasi has a life span of 120 years.
