Homebrew Automaton Sprite Species Details

You were built by a master-artificer. Although many automatons are mindless, your creator spent endless resources and pledged themself to a dark (or radiant or celestial or fey) power to grant you sentience. Through blending these otherworldly powers with exquisite craftsmanship, you were given your own mind. You are made from metal, but you can feel pain and emotion. Although your creator may have had a specific purpose in mind for you, you are now able to make your own decisions. Will you continue to serve your creator or will you seek your own path?

- You have advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or poisoned
- You don't need to eat, drink, or breathe

Sentry's Rest

When you take a long rest, you must spend at least six hours in an inactive, motionless state, rather than sleeping. In this state, you appear inert, but it doesn’t render you unconscious, and you can see and hear as normal.

Flight

Because of your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.
