The cradle of Vestria, birthplace of her people, and political heart of Anhara, the residents of the Coquet Heights are a people perhaps too aware of their own import. Viewed by much of Anhara as haughty, egotistical, and elitist, the Coqueti feel they carry the burden of the nation’s reputation on their shoulders.

You were born amongst the highest mountains in the nation, where Vestria is believed to have breathed life into her people. So many temples, groves, and settlements are dotted around the peaks that any Coqueti, no matter if from the lowlands or the capital, have climbed them all their life. Your acclimation to alitutde makes you resistant to cold damage, and gives you a natural climbing speed of 30ft.
Hiking the Heights
Growing up in the mountainous heart of Anhara, you were scrambling over fallen boulders and thriving in the crisp, thin air of the Vale of the Winds. Choose between Constitution and Dexterity, and apply a +1 bonus to that score. You also gain proficiency in Athletics.
With the Windbags
Whether from the most ancient of houses or the least significant of mining town, you cannot help but bump shoulders with politicians growing up in the Heights. Your constant exposure to speeches and social graces has given you a +2 to Charisma.
