Homebrew Draco-Elf Species Details
A pursuit of honor and tradition has a tendency to manifest itself among the Draco-elf population, with Draco-elves more commonly taking on a temperament closer to a Dragonborn than an Elf in most circumstances. Defending their families and friends, they form close connections to people and are extremely loyal, despite often being outcasts in their society. Their wilder temperament tends to differentiate them from elves, who tend to act with more grace and poise. Draco-elves tend to find themselves at home with Dragonborn, who are often more accepting of their personalities, and live to approximately the same ages, making interactions with their society much easier. Draco-elves often have rough childhoods given they are already mature at younger ages than most elves and thus have trouble going through school or dealing with other children of their age. Similarly, Draco-elves have trouble fitting in with elves of their same maturity level, as they have a lower education and more care-free attitude. Parents of Draco-elves are often flustered by their hyperactivity, as they abound with energy and curiosity, and have strong compulsions towards fighting and combat. Their ability to breathe fire often startles elf kin, and can cause accidents to become common, further adding to the concern of their children. Despite this Draco-elves tend to be empathetic, compassionate and kind, often times dedicating themselves to helping total strangers or a society with views them with fear or revulsion, given their strong honor-oriented view of the world. As a result, they make natural adventurers.
