Homebrew Arkenaut Species Details

 A race that originates from the Namoren Planes. During the cataclysmic event that destroyed the Namoren Planes, a few Namor nobles,  vestiges, and vessels boarded the Ark. The Ark was a vehicle created for singular planar travel. Due to the energy needed to travel the plane's piloting is difficult to impossible. They ended up landing on a rather old but quiet planet. Perhaps it is because of their shorter lives that they strive to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Whatever drives them, Arkenauts are the innovators, achievers, and pioneers of the world.

A Broad Spectrum

       There is no typical Arkenaut. An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 8 feet tall and weigh 125 to 350 pounds. Arkenaut skin shades range from nearly black to very pale. They possess hair color that of the purest blacks and whites along with the look of the stars. Arkenauts reach adulthood in their late teens and rarely live even two centuries.

Arkenauts are a proud and regal species, they seem to handle the effects of God-hood better than any other race.

Ability Score Increase

Five ability scores of your choice each increase by 1 and one of your ability scores increases by 2.

Age

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than two centuries.

Size

Humans vary widely in height and build, from a bit over 5 feet to well over 8 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium or Large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Namoriell and one extra language of your choice. Arkenauts typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.
