Homebrew Demigod Species Details

demigods are a unique race, as they are only half human. however, unlike half-elves and half-orcs, their non-human counterparts look human: for they are gods. demigods are the result of affairs between the humans and the divine. since both parent species appear human in form, demigods are not shunned by society like other half-species. however, there is still a psychological barrier in place. some demigods, such as the ones born from higher gods, think they are higher up than other species, and sometimes, other demigods. these demigods have alignments such as true neutral, chaotic neutral, and evil alignments.

demigods are the children of divine beings, and as such, have great power

Ability score increase

each of your ability scores increase by 1.

Divine tongue

you can speak Common and Primordial. if your divine parent is of a Good alignment, you can also speak Celestial and Sylvan, and you can communicate telepathically with other divine beings. if your divine parent is of an evil alignment, you instead can speak Infernal and Abyssal, and can communicate telepathically with other fiendish beings.

Divine Resistance.

You have resistance to necrotic damage. if your divine parent is of a good alignment, you also have resistance to radiant damage, and if they are of an evil alignment, you have resistance to fire damage.
