Homebrew Arachnoid Species Details
Appearance
Arachnoids range from 5 to 6 ft tall
Arachnoids have human skin tones with little to no hair on their head and entire front of their bodies however they have very large animalistic tufts of hair on their backside and shoulders generally in ornate patterns and colors similar to that of a jumping spider
Arachnoids have 6 to 8 eyes, no nose, very small ears, and a very large mouth with human teeth except for 2 spider like fangs. They have an extended jaw that comes out noticibly from the top of the head.
They have 3 arm and leg joints as apposed to the normal 2 in most humanoids
They have apposable feet and hands with their digits being segmented like a spiders and have tiny hairs that allow them good grip on most surfaces
Features
Once every long rest achnoids can produce up to 6ft of a strong sticky flamable web. This can be used as rope and to repel from ceilings. It isn't effective as a trap and can be broken easily
Arachnoids also can make a bite attack injecting venom that makes the foe weak. Arachnoids can make this attack while grappling a foe
Arachnoids have an inate 30 ft climbing speed and can climb on any surface that isn't totally smooth
Arachnoids can leap 10 ft from a stand still but only on all 4s
Social structure
Arachnoids have been known to live in small groups In mountain, forest, or cave environments. Generally these groups do not exceed 10 but have been reported to go up to 100. The smaller the group the less trusting they are of outsiders even of their own kind the general rule of thumb is to never approach a group order 10 and only approach a group of 30 or less unless you are a arachnoid or can speak arachnid.
They use their webbing to hang or make hammocks where they sleep or to hang structures to work in or on
Arachnoids raise their young as a group until they are 5 years of age at which point they can join the tribe or go out on their own.
Arachnoids age very rapidly being able to move around within the first month and communicate in arachnid before 6 months and reaching their mature stage at 7 years old. They usually live for around 40 years

Spider fangs
You can make a bite attack adding your strength to the attack roll, on successful hit the enemy takes 1d4+your strength modifier damage and the enemy must make a constitution save of 10+your constitution modifier or be dazed and have disadvantage on strength checks on their next turn
Spider string
You can create up to 6 ft of a strong sticky flamable web rope that you can use to repel from the ceiling or any rope use. It is easily broken with any attack or a DC 12 strength check if tied with it
Spider jump
You can leap 10 ft from a stand still but only on all 4s without holding anything
