Homebrew BatDog (race inspired by @shoutmilo on instagram) Species Details

BatDogs are a small species of bipedal animals that tend to dwell in hives usually located in dense forests. BatDogs tend to be predators who feed mostly on bugs and fruits. they tend to be 1-2ft in height. their coats usually match their surroundings but can come in any hues. BatDogs lack any sort of pupils so their eyes are of a solid colour. they have multiple wings located: between their arms and thighs and smaller ones on the backs of their thighs to the base of their tails. Their tails can act sort of like a third arm that lacks any sort of hand.

using their wings they can glide a long distance using their small bodies to their advantage and gliding along the wind. they are very proficient in climbing but tend. to struggle when it comes to swimming. this race tends to have dark vision.

Due to being tree dwelling creatures batdogs have evolved to be very good climbers, often having long claws to assist them

BatDogs are most often found with small wings most similar to sugar gliders and can be used in similar ways, using the wind to assist them with gliding from tree to tree and traveling long distances.

Darkvision

Thanks to your Infernal heritage, you have superior Vision in dark and dim Conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in Darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in Darkness, only Shades of Gray.
