Homebrew Arachnoid Species Details

• 8-10limbs (varying)
• 8 eyes: 2 main glowing eye and six small peripheral eyes, usually blues, reds, or black, no pupils
• Mandibles, usually covered by a mask or facial wrap
• Either Covered with a thick layer of fur, or absolutely hairless and their skin tone is typically the same, if not slightly paler, than their fur or abdomen. This can be either greys, blacks or browns, but there have been sightings of Arachnoids that are vibrant colours.
• 6-7ft tall
• b/w 250-300lbs (due to their heavy abdomen)
• Human hair
• Humanoid torsos have been known to range between quite burly, and slender, usually indicative of the breed of spider their lower half emulates.

Arachnoid Traits

Spider Web: Spider Webs shoot from the abdomen as a bonus action. The target must make a DEX save DC14 or suffer disadvantage on their next attack.

Arachnoid names are given based on the appearance of their abdomens when they are born. Many distinct patterns appear on their abdomens, this ensures that no two Arachnoids are the same. eg. Diamond Fur, Silk Strider, Gray Legs, Flat Back, Many Steps
