Homebrew Bozak Draconian Species Details

Bozak draconians are born from bronze dragon eggs. They are experts with magic and are also quick to learn. They often use their magic to help their allies in battle. Their small wings don't allow them to fly, but they do allow the bozaks to glide when they are falling. Bozak draconians were originally created to be weapons of war; but now that war is over, they have had to find purpose in a recovering world. They often become warlocks for powerful patrons. This allows them to use their abilities to the fullest.

Bozak Draconian Traits

As weapons of war, bozak draconians have specific abilities that are used for a purpose.

Ability Score Increase

You can increase one score by 2 and another by 1, or you can choose to increase 3 different scores by 1.

Size

Bozak Draconians normally stand between 5 to 8 feet tall and average around 200 to 500 pounds.

Speed

You have a walking speed 30 ft.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Draconic Wings

When you fall at least 10 feet, you can use your Reaction to safely glide downward, taking no damage from the fall.

Sturdy Scales

As a warped version of a bronze dragon, you have sturdy scales that make you resist lightning damage.

Channeled Energy

One of the abilities that helped the bozak draconian in war was their channeled energy. This lightning is quite potent in combat. You can choose between two versions of this lightning when you make a bozak draconian character.

- During combat you can harness your channeled energy. When you attack with a melee weapon you can deal an extra 1d6 lightning damage. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain expended uses after a short or long rest.

- You gain the lightning lure cantrip, it counts as a class spell but doesn't count against the number of cantrips you know.
