Homebrew Bub Species Details
Bub are big creatures that tend to be in calm with the nature, they are sometimes called the simple guardians of the forest. They live a lonely live being fascinated by all short of simple things their enviroment offers, like a little baby would do. Sometimes they integrate on some societies that live in union with nature, like a friendly and well known big boy.
As Simple as Nature
Bubs are a simplification of the giats races, that has turned into the herbivorous way. They are indeed strong but base their diet not in animals but in fruits and other vegetables, thus they keep the ability to eat meat.
Simple Forest Guardian
The shape of a bub is like a big humanoid, sometimes bowed and with consistent structure (chunky). Their skin is soft and is usualy of camuflage colours (light grey, light green, light brown,...) but being heterogeneous around all the body.
Bub Names
The Names of Bubs aren't pretty complex, because of their self-based learning on nature, they tend to have a sound thay have heard as a name or a very short word (three letters or four in very rare cases).

Bubs mature really fast, at age of five, which shows their childly character. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 40 years.

Darkvision
You are used to see the stars and stay woken up in the night, which grants you accustoming in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You gain proficiency in the Animal Handling skill.
Big Cultivator
You can eat from the vegetal elements of the surroundings, without needing to use meals or rations, to avoid exhaustion. When you use this feature you don't recover effects of long and short rests, only when you eat properly.
Hollow Mind
Your inteligence ability score decreases by 2 points. You gain +2 in inteligence against rolls of inteligence that contain elements of nature (like investigation).
Languages
You can understand, read, and write Common and other language of your choice. The second language could be of a creature you have made friend with or a culture you have visited. Bubs can speak words of languages they know that dont contain much more than three phonetic sounds.
