Homebrew Descendant of The Phoenix Species Details
Descendants of the Mythical and powerful Phoenix, members of this race possess one unique ability.
With an average life-span of 400 years, these beings enter a cycle of renewal every 100 years, in which their body is engulfed in flame, and a new body is created for them.
Upon an early death, one of these humanoid-Phoenix beings will regenerate as normal, but at the cost of loosing 100 years of their life further down the road.
They are often brave, and noble, choosing to celebrate death instead of mourning it. The magic that runs through their veins may be shared to prevent a loved one from dying, and is a symbol of true love, as it requires sacraficing 100 years of ones own life.
