Homebrew Chameleoid Species Details

Chameleoids are Chameleon like humanoids. They are sometimes found in Jungles or tropical Land sites. Cameleoids hatch from single eggs which are almost impossible to find due to their magical camouflage. Hatchling are born with everything they need to survive, especially with the gift to turn nearly invisible for predators. Within the 8 years a young Chameleoid needs to reach adulthood they tend to grow very intelligent and aware of their surroundings. Due to their curious nature most chameleoids start wondering where they came from, and start finding another one of their kind. Because of their rare appearance finding a partner often ends up in a lifetime quest for a Chameleoid. If they do find a partner, the couple then wanders off to a good breeding spot in a jungle or a swamp, but once the egg is laid they mostly end up losing the almost invisible Egg which seems to magicaly moves on its own.
