Homebrew Animated Skeleton Species Details

Animated Skeletons are creatures brought to life through dark magic. Most Skeletons are bound in service to a Necromancer or dark mage, however there are some who have managed to escape this servitude and grasp to the few memories they have of their past life. Skeletons are feared by the common people and hunted by guards and heroes; in order to survive skeletons must always disguise themselves.

Skeletons do not have a need to eat, drink or breathe.

Skeletons cannot swim but they possess the ability to burrow through the ground so long as it’s not rock or stone.

Skeletons also possess the unnerving ability to cheat death.

Skeletons can always see and hear from their skull even if it’s separated from their body.
