Homebrew Celtor Species Details

A prideful and greedy race, The Celtors had a city of great renown--known for their legendary bankers and overall wealth. The city sported titanic walls that were only paired with a navy that no other could compare to. Though as a result of the dependence of their navy and wall--the city guard were low and what was considered their 'army' was much less prepared than what their navy had been capable of. However, all good things do come to an end as eventually, the entire city and the land it was upon had been undertowed beneath the sea. Dragged all the way to the bottom of the ocean and into the 'Depths' below.

Legends speak of the few survivors of the city recalling maddening tales of that fateful day. The creature known only as the Celtorian Horror, had been a beast of eldritch connotations, sporting a mass of tentacles and a beak. It has essentially erased the presence of the Celtorian city from our world, drowning it.

Silver-tongued traders whose pride often gets the better of them.
Renowned as ship-builders and seafarers alike.

Seabourne Lifestyle

The Celtors are quite acquainted with the way of the waves and have an instinctual understanding of it. Having no place to call home, the Celtors are somewhat nomads of the sea with their constant travel, and thus having a keen understanding of ships and their maintenance as well as an understanding of the seas of the luminants. Celtors are often hired onto pirate crews as navigators or even start their own as a captain given their skillfulness at sea.

Celtor Appearance

Celtors are a race that appears to have a similar build to most humans, but with a pale-ish green skin, hair ranging through a variety of dark colors and a racoon-like marking on their face, this marking is passed down throughout generations They are on the shorter side of most races and can stand from 5 feet to a little over 5 and a half feet tall and can weigh 120 to 150 pounds.

Celtorian Disdain

Those who know of the past of the Celtors look down upon them, viewing them as a sign of bad luck and some even go out of their way to attempt to kill Celtors believing they would be better off dead than a bad omen. Common people are often confused and scared at the sight of a Celtor, as they are rarely seen in the hustle and bustle of cities.
