Homebrew Bloodrunners Species Details
Bloodrunners are 2 legged creatures with a bite powerful enough to tear someone in half. They also have a strong manueverable tail letting them move at high speeds. They are highly inteligent species however they lack the skill to communicate with other creatures other than other Bloodrunners. This is because of their powerful jaws preventing their vocal cords from fully developing. They tipically reside in the forest wher they also travel and hunt in small packs of around 5 individuals. Their largest competitors and rivals and wolves.
Bloodrunners Traits
Bloodrunners are quick, smooth, agile and highly inteligent. However they lack communicatory skills.Try-limbed reptile
Bloodrunners do not posses arms or back legs, instead they have two front legs and a powerfull tail in the back. Their tail acting almost like a single hand, being able to hold a single onehanded item. Because of this they fail any action including the use of arms.
Undeveloped Vocal Cords
Due to their large and powerful jaws the muscles in their throat contracted on their vocal cords so much that they were not able to use them to communicate. Instead they communicate with body jestures to other Bloodrunners. Because of this they have a disadvantage on charisma throws.
Genetic Anxiety
Bloodrunners are born with anxiety preprogrammed in their brain. This serves as almost a reflex to save themselves during a battle. Because of this they can get stressed easily and get very angry. If the Bloodrunner fails abily checks three times he is stressed and swings his tail dealing 3d6 damage to anyone within a 10ft. radius. This must happen immedietly after the stress level reaching 3. Stress can be cured with a short rest, long rest, drinking alcohol or consuming drugs.
Danger Sense
At 5th level, you gain an uncanny sense of when things nearby aren’t as they should be, giving you an edge when you dodge away from danger. Roll a 2d20 perception check, if the result is above 10 you gain knowlage of any danger in a 40 ft. Radius unless it is invisible, if the result is above 20 you also know what danger type it is.
