Homebrew Dhampyr Species Details

Due to the nature of their heritage, most dhampyr take on the attributes of their mothers. Fair of skin, longer hair, they move with an unnatural fluidity and grace. All dhampyr have elongated incisors.

The mother most often dies in childbirth, having been bitten while pregnant. This usually leaves the child orphaned, to be raised in the care of others. Because of their half-breed nature, they tend to gravitate towards others of their situation. Most notably tieflings and half-orcs, who are also considered a less than acceptable mix.

Sometimes, they are unaware of their affliction. One of the links to their unholy sire is a thirst that is never truly slaked. More often than not, this leads to a level of alcoholism. Though it is very hard for them to get drunk.
