Homebrew Wolven Species Details

Wolven are a species akin to Tabaxi, Lionel, Tortle, etc.  Humanoid wolf like beings.

Wandering Nomads

Most wolven remain in their distant homeland, content to dwell in small, tight clans. These wolven hunt for food, craft goods, and largely keep to themselves.

However, not all wolven are satisfied with such a life.  Many go into a wanderlust, a want for great challenges, or to just explore the world not yet seen.   Their love of nature and community gives them a different perspective on the world, once they find their group their bonds are forever, unless broken by the other.  A wolven would never break a bond with someone unless they were betrayed.

Nature's Observers

To a wolven, the stories of their travels is to be preserved and passed on, their life lessons, tricks of the trade, and general sense of life and living should shared.  Their found family becomes their pack, their home, their loved ones, whom they will share everything with.

A wolven normally doesn't interfere with the day to day lives of others if they aren't within their pack or clan, however they will if a child or youngling is in danger.  They have a high sense of protection.

Warriors and Storytellers

Most wolven see themselves as the warrior, full of honor, protectors, in search of glory, and wisdom.  They mix this passion with their other love, of truth in tale.  To tell a story with meaning behind it.  They wander sometimes to gain new stories to tell at home, or to gain experience and feel a sense of worth from their life.

Wolven Names
