Homebrew Werewolf Species Details

Fang and Claws

There are two ways to be a werewolf- Either from a family bloodline or being bitten by other werewolves. Standing around 5 to 6 feet tall, they have a physical system the same as a human. However, though, Werewolves have a special ability that allows them to transform into a beast closely resembling that a wolf. Their Fur color matches their Hair color in Day form, which means if you dye your hair, your fur color will be that color.

Superior Awareness

With long ears and the nose and teeth of a wolf, Werewolves, whether in Day or Night form, can sense other creatures' alignment. This also means they get a sense of other creatures' intentions, such as when a villain is plotting to unleash a mighty beast on the party, the werewolf simply gets the feeling that the villain has a plan in mind.

Scattered

Werewolves of both subraces are shunned by their close relatives, humans. Werewolves are uncommon to linger in cities as humans tend to think they are filthy. Therefore, they usually live in villages or the wilderness. Werewolves are particularly friendly towards Dragonborn, Tieflings, and other beastly races. they re otherwise neutral towards all other races and prefer not to socialize with humans.
