Homebrew Wyverian Species Details
Wyverians superficially resemble humans, but they have several traits that suggest a wyvern (or draconic) ancestry. They have pointed ears, four-fingered hands, and an increased lifespan. Some Wyverians can live for hundreds of years. Many, though not all, Wyverians also possess digitigrade legs. They reproduce less often than humans, resulting in a smaller population. There are height differences of great magnitude across the Wyverian population - from the very small to the immense. Wyverian culture is heavily centered around the environment and nature they live in. The First Wyverians, for example, choose to live away from society and make their home in the unexplored wilderness. Wyverians are innately curious and make great craftsmen, as well as hunters.
Wyverians are incredibly adaptable and are able to find a way to live in just about any environment. They even enjoy the exploration of new places and studying of new life. However, Wyverians know how sacred nature is, so they choose to observe it and try to keep it as balanced as possible. Additionally, Wyverians are very social and can easily adapt to societies and cultures of other races. This is why they can be found throughout the continent in which they live.
Their ancestry, as listed above, is a part of why they are able to adapt and feel so in tune with nature. Some Wyverians possess strange abilities to affect the environment around them in different ways. The Elder Dragons, ancient dragons long lost, are said to bless the ancestry of the Wyverians with these abilities. Although no Elder Dragon has ever been seen, ancient Wyverian scripts and literature mention the titles and names of these Elder Dragons. Therefore, Wyverians are able to know which Elder Dragon they are related to.

Accustomed to differing ecosystems and night wandering, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Elder Dragon Ancestry
Your ancestry is traced back to the ancient and long-lost "Elder Dragons" that inhabited the areas in which your people live. As a bonus action, you have the ability to infuse your weapons with 1d6 elemental damage in accordance with your chosen Elder Origin. This ability has a charge count equal to your proficiency modifier. The damage is only applied to your first attack after activating this ability. The damage dealt scales at higher levels up to 2d6 (5th level), 3d6 (11th level), and 4d6 (17th level).

Age
Wyverians reach maturity by age 16. Compared to humans, Wyverians have an extremely long lifespan. They generally live up to 300 years, but there are records of them being older than 1000 years. As they age past the years of 200-300, most Wyverians shrink in size and lose their young look.

You can choose one stat to increase by +2.
Alignment
Most Wyverians tend to be any type of Good alignment, but the older ones are typically more neutral.
Ecological Connoisseur
You can spend a period of time equal to 1 hour surveying and adapting to an environment in order to gain advantage on survival checks in that area. You can change the chosen area by doing the same process again. Additionally, you are also unaffected by difficult terrain wherever you go.
