+2 charisma, and +1 wisdom

The Awoken possess Darkvision up to 60 feet. Though they retain dim-color as opposed to the "grey-scale" vision as usual.

The Awoken are resistant to both Radiant and Necrotic damage due to their close atonement to both entities.

Beginning at first level, the Awoken know the "Dancing Lights" cantrip which they may cast once per long rest without using a spell slot.

Beginning at fifth level, the Awoken learn the "Darkness" spell and may cast it once per long rest without expending a spell slot. Additionally the Awoken can see normally in this "Darkness" spell as if it was not there. 

Charisma is the spellcasting modifier for these spells.

Awoken do not age, they are forever locked at the age they were when they became awoken.

Awoken do not understand alignment as the other races do. They tend toward a neutral alignment usually. They are beings of both good and evil as well as lawful and chaotic. However they are not bound by these paradigms as normal humans are.

Awoken have a standard Medium size. With the added irregularities of strangely colored eyes and skin. As well as a sort of swirling light and darkness that seems to flow beneath the skin, depending on the mood of the Awoken.

The Awoken can speak, read, and write common, and ancient.
