Water children can have body parts from other animals, you can choose any water roaming animal, come up with a skill that animal would have, and approve with your DM.

You are slimmer and shorter as to not creat resistance in the water, your size is small.

You grew up on the edge of the water, you developed fins. Your base swimming speed is 35 feet.

Due to being surrounded by fish growing up, your first language was aquan. you have also learned common, although your communication skills may not be great. you can speak aquan and common, -1 charisma.
