Homebrew Doji Species Details
This canine race has two different fur colors: Welsh - Fawn and White or Cardigan - Black/Brown and white. Their legs and arms are not what one would consider to be proportionate to the rest of their body. They reach adulthood at 20 and live up to 107 years. They are good boys and girls through and through, and typically tend to be agents of chaos.
Doji Traits
Charisma score increases by 2 and Constitution by 1. They can speak, read, and write Common and Sylvan and can speak with other creatures as described in the 'Speak with Animals' spell.Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma increases by 2 and your constitution increases by 1.
Big Chomp
As an action you may choose to make a bite attack against an enemy. If you hit you deal damage equal to 1d4 piercing + your strength (minimum of 1). Increases to 1d8 at 5th level, 2d6 at tenth level, 4d4 at 15th level.
Keen Sniffer
Advantage on all Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Lil Baby Legs
You are always low to the ground and ,thus, harder to hit from range. All ranged weapon attacks against you are made at a disadvantage. Additionally it costs you no movement to get up from being prone.
Oh Heck
As a Bonus Action you may choose to get on all fours and move up to half your movement speed. Moving in this way does not provoke opportunity attacks. If you end your turn on all fours, your AC increases by 2 for the next attack made against you. Additionally you cannot use your front paws to make melee attacks until the start of your next turn.
