Homebrew Bumbrid Species Details

Bumbrids have fey ancestry and have features from their human and fey creature ancestors. Unlike tieflings, Bumbrids appear more humanoid and usually have hair and skin colors that humans would have. The eyes of a Bumbrid look like that of a bee's eyes, with no sclera or pupil. They all are born with antennas and bee wings, but can't fly at a young age until their wings are developed and fully functional to carry their weight. Most females have no stinger, and almost all of them have 3a-type curly hair. Males can have any type of hair, and they have a stinger, but where the stinger is depended on the type of Bumbrid. The common Bumbrid will have their stinger on their right or left index finger, but it will mostly be on the right and it is able to be retracted when the Bumbrid is not being threatened. Unlike bees who live together in large colonies, a Bumbrid will almost never see another one of their kind, especially if they live in the north. They are normally isolated and prefer wandering alone, and if they are lucky enough to find another Bumbrid then they will stick together most likely if they are different genders, or both female. If two male Bumbrids meet each other, there is a high chance that if they are both in a fit state they will fight. Some Bumbrids find their places in society and are actually loved for their differences. If a Bumbrid and a human have a child, the child will always be a Bumbrid.
