Homebrew Blood Demon Species Details

A race of demon born from blood and hellfire to ravage the different worlds they are summoned to. Some have contracts with humans and some cannot be controlled. These demons have the unique ability to drain blood form dead creatures and combine it with themselves to grow stronger or change how they look. At first they look like a demon but after killing hundreds of different creatures, it begins to transform into what it stole the most blood from. Some Blood Demons take on the appearances of Dragons and monsters, but most take on the appearance of humans. 

The blood demon can store blood for later use but cannot use its own blood, if there is a fight with another blood demon, the one with the most blood will absorb the other blood demon, and then it will become a psychological war inside the mind to see who owns the new body, the victor of this fight gains any and all abilities form the other blood demon(s).

Blood Demon Traits

Your Blood Demon character has certain characteristics in common with all other demons, then slowly they can blend in with other creatures.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Primordial. Primordial is a guttural language, filled with harsh syllables and hard consonants. You can understand Abyssal, but you cannot speak it.

Ability Score Increase

Your Constitution score increases by 3.

Your Dexterity score is increases by 1.

Your Charisma score is decreases by 1.

Age

Demons mature immediately. They live somewhat longer than Elves do, up to 800 years.

Alignment

Chaotic and dangerous, anywhere chaotic for alignment. 

Size

Demons are as varied as their immortal parents but are generally built like Monsters, standing anywhere between 3 feet to over 12 feet tall. Your size is Medium or large.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
