Homebrew Ash_Born Species Details

Ash born are a race race known to be the rulers of the land of light (Eldrania). Few Ash Borns  exist but never die as long as the eternal fire burns. Their skin shades range from nearly black to very pale, and hair colors from black to blond (curly, kinky, or straight); males might sport facial hair that is sparse or thick. Ash born are known to rule for millennia. Their lifetime is unknown. Non have lived long enough to see an Ash Born even age, though the stories of the Ash Born seem to get older and tell of a more youthful time. There are many different looking ash born (age wise) ranging from a newborn to an old man, but never seem to change with time. It is rare to see a newborn Ash Born. They say they are pulled from the eternal fire from the center on the island at the great tree. They seem to mature after only a few years, but their aging appears to almost stop after that.

Ash_Born Traits

Little is know about these once majestic people, but your Ash Born character has these traits.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Pyro, and one extra language of your choice.

Age

Nobody but Ash Born know how long they live. They can die of old age, but it is never said how long they have lived for

Size

Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Pulled From the Eternal Flame

They have been know to pass away from old age, but nobody tells how long they have lived. Death from anything else results in them being reborn in the nearest flame. They retain all their gear except for their spark that seems to be left behind. It can be reclaimed after one death, but after multiple, they seem to disappear.

The Flame Within

Ash Born have harnessed the true power of the Spark. With enough of them, they can create an eternal flame from a fire. This flame shows the beauty of the world and acts as a respawn point to them. The flame cannot be extinguished by normal means. The positioning of the flame cost a different amount of spark
