Homebrew Awakened Pigeon Species Details

You just like any other pigeon except for the fact the someone used magic to awaken you. why awaken a pigeon? Well thats up to you and your DM. Have fun with this silly race.

Pigeons live for about 6 years.

Size

You are tiny sized.

Speed

You have a walking speed of 10 feet and a flying speed of 35 feet.

Languages

You speak Common and 1 language of your choice, you also can speak to other animals.

Ability Score Bonuses

You have a +2 to Dexterity and a +1 to Charisma.

Bonus Proficiencies

You have proficiency in Animal Handling, Acrobatics, and Nature.

Keen Sight

You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.

Natural Weapons

You can make an attack with your Beak and your Talons.

Beak: Your beak attack is 1d6 + Dex piercing damage

Talons: Your talons are 1d6 + Dex Slashing damage

I’ll Peck Out Your Eyes! : When you attack a target with your beak you can target the creature's eyes and attempt to blind them until the start of your next turn. They must succeed a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw.

Play Dumb

You have advantage on deception and performance checks.

Animal Bond

You have advantage on Nature and Animal Handling checks.

Part of the Flock

You have advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Flyby

Gift of Awakening

You gain the Gust, Mage Hand, and Walloping Winds (Homebrew) Cantrips. Also at 3rd level you gain access to 3 out of the following 6 spells, Detect Magic, Disguise Self, Fog Cloud, Gale Force Winds (Homebrew), Magnify Gravity, or Identify. Lastly at 5th Level you gain access to 2 of these 4 spells, Alter Self, Earthbind, Gust of Wind, or Summon Beast. Your spellcasting modifier for these spells is Charisma and can cast them a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You can also cast them normally if you have the appropriate spell slots available.
