Homebrew Astral Dev Species Details
Psychology and game mechanical features.
Being beings of the spirit to a greater extent than of the flesh, devas attach great importance to ideals and principles. Most of them try to serve as a model of high moral standards; the memory (albeit vague) of many past lives makes them elegant, mysterious and often somewhat alien to the eyes of other races. Since devas usually remember the beginning of their chain of reincarnations and their former life in the Astral Sea among the gods, they are often devoted followers of one of the good deities.
The set of racial characteristics of devas thematically refers to their rich experience of past lives.
Astral Dev Traits
Devas D&D 4 are humanoid creatures resembling humans, although on average slightly taller. The composition of the devas is elegant; their beautiful posture is emphasized by complete immobility at rest — devas do not shift from foot to foot, do not twitch, and their eyes move only when they are looking at something. The most noticeable difference between devas and humans is skin color. Each dev has two basic skin colors — light and dark (specific colors may vary — light can be white, and light gray, dark - and black, and purple, and dark gray). One of the main skin colors, spots of a different color cover the deva's face, chest and shoulders with elegant patterns.
